More than two billion people worldwide live on less than $2 a day, and another estimated two billion struggle with problems of inadequate housing or lack the financial resources and stability to procure basic services, protect themselves from economic shocks, and build wealth. These four billion people represent a socio-economic class referred to as the base of the pyramid.

We support organizations that create economic opportunity for the base of the pyramid through access to capital. We invest in organizations that provide access to the financial services, business opportunities, and property rights that are available to most citizens of developed countries and are key to building wealth. Our goal is to promote economic advancement worldwide.
